The Starbucks Foundation Supports Communities in Chile Impacted by Wildfires
In response to the devastating wildfires impacting the Biobío and Ñuble regions of Chile, The Starbucks Foundation has committed a total of $20,000 to World Central Kitchen and Desafío Levantemos Chile to support immediate relief through meal distribution to impacted communities and first responders as well as mid-term recovery efforts.
In addition, Starbucks Chile – operated by Alsea – is providing direct assistance to its partners impacted by the emergency, ensuring they receive support and resources they need during this time.
The Starbucks Foundation will continue to monitor the evolving situation and remain committed to providing support, recognizing that community recovery and reconstruction will extend well beyond the immediate crisis.
