Starbucks Celebrates International Coffee Day with Exciting Expansion in the Dominican Republic

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic – In celebration of International Coffee Day, Starbucks Dominican Republic – operated by Green Star Partners – is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its flagship store on Lincoln Avenue in Santo Domingo. This remarkable two-story drive-thru location offers a unique journey where culture, folklore, elegance, and human connection through coffee seamlessly intertwine.

Nestled in the heart of one of Santo Domingo's most vibrant urban areas, the Lincoln Avenue store showcases contextual architecture, with concrete as its primary construction element. The building is beautifully positioned over a landscaped area that serves as a tranquil portal between the bustling exterior and the inviting interior space. The integration of lush vegetation enhances the aesthetic appeal while creating a functional and welcoming environment for all.

As customers approach, they are greeted by a stunning mural created by local artist Willy Gomez, featuring feminine and organic strokes. This captivating artwork serves as a prelude to the impactful interior design, celebrating the unique cultural heritage of the Dominican Republic and paying homage to the iconic figure of the Siren through exquisite ceramic mosaic details.

Upon entering, visitors are welcomed by a striking double-height space that magnifies the aromas of freshly brewed coffee. This design elevates the consumer experience and fosters genuine connections between our partners and customers. Looking ahead, the second phase of the Lincoln Avenue store is set to launch in early 2025, introducing additional green areas, more parking spaces, and a dog park for our furry friends in Piantini.

Cumayasa: Conveniently located on the way to La Romana, this drive-thru store provides the flexibility of window or café service. The fresh environment, practical furnishings, andwarm caramel tones highlight local artistry, creating an inviting space for coffee lovers.

Sambil Mall: Our kiosk at Plaza Sambil features a vibrant counter in green tones, complemented by light wood accents. This location is adorned with large-scale tropical art, making it a lively stop for shoppers and coffee enthusiasts alike.
