Starbucks Jamaica Opens New Café in Portmore

Starbucks Parkway Square becomes eleventh store in Jamaica opened in partnership with Caribbean Coffee Traders Limited; underscores commitment to job creation and growth in the market.

ST. CATHERINE, JAMAICA – As part of its continued growth in Jamaica, Starbucks, in partnership with its operating licensee Caribbean Coffee Baristas Limited (CCBL), today announced the unveiling of a new store in Jamaica, marking its eleventh café opening on the island.

Situated at Parkway Square, a recently established shopping center in Portmore, St. Catherine, this 1779 square ft. store will serve as a local point for customers to connect with friends and family over a cup of coffee, while being a convenient alternative for those traversing to Starbucks stores in the nearby city of Kingston.

Customers visiting this store will have a sense of familiarity through the welcoming atmosphere of Starbucks cafés, convenience and on-the-go coffee experience.

The new Parkway Square store, designed under the Greener Stores Framework, reflects  Starbucks commitment to environmental sustainability, while pushing the brand to bring bold and innovative design to our customers. Through the integration of sustainable features such as 100% LED Lighting, filters and low flow plumbing fixtures and processes, the store is designed to reduce water consumption by 30% and is energy efficient.

Customers visiting Starbucks Parkway Square can enjoy a variety of handcrafted espresso-based beverages from the classic Starbucks menu, seasonal innovations and an elevated coffee craft that allows for customizable drinks.

The store’s operating hours are from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday to Saturday, and 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.
