Located in the capital of the Chilean region of El Maule, the new café marks the 160th Starbucks location in the market and underscores Starbucks Chile’s commitment to growth and job creation.

Talca, Chile – Starbucks Chile – operated by licensed partner Alsea – today announced the opening of its first store in Talca, a vibrant tourist destination located in southern Chile. The Talca store opening marks a significant stride in Starbucks Chile’s ongoing commitment to growth and job creation in the market.

The new location invites customers to savor a range of Starbucks favorites, including the Caramel Frappuccino®, an array of flavored lattes, hot and cold coffee blends, and a wide selection of bakery items.

“We are thrilled to bring the Starbucks Experience to consumers in Talca, further expanding our presence in southern Chile. Our store designers have created a space that pays homage to the historical charm of Talca, providing customers with a space for the meaningful moments of connection around coffee that so many of our customers enjoy,” said Soledad Fantuzzi, marketing manager for Starbucks Chile, Argentina, Uruguay & Paraguay.

Around the world, Starbucks designs its stores to foster the human connections that are created over a cup of coffee, reflecting the diverse international communities it serves. The new Talca store, spanning an area of 190 square meters with a capacity to serve approximately 50 people, boasts a distinctive design by local artist Pepe inspired by the city’s rich flora and fauna. Adorned with unique artwork and décor celebrating the iconic Starbucks siren, the space is designed to act as a “Third Place” for Chilean customers, providing a warm and welcoming meeting place where everyone can enjoy high-quality arabica coffee from Latin America and around the world and handcrafted beverages prepared by passionate baristas.

Since entering Chile in 2003 with its first store in Santiago, Starbucks maintains its commitment to serving Chilean customers and the communities in which it has a presence. The new Talca store, marking the 160th location in Chile, will employ 13 Starbucks Chile partners, contributing to the company’s workforce of over 2,400 green apron partners (employees) across the market.

“Growing within the Chilean market is a priority for Starbucks. We have plans to open more stores in the coming years, aligning with our commitment to creating local job opportunities and delivering unparalleled experiences to our customers,” Fantuzzi added.

Located at Circunvalación Oriente 1055, local 143-144, Talca, the new store will be open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
