Starbucks Brazil partners with iFood to add convenience options for customers
In an effort to further connect with its customers, Starbucks Brazil now offers delivery service through the iFood app in over 100 stores. To celebrate this exciting partnership, customers who order select items though the iFood app will receive an exclusive gift from the brand.
São Paulo – Starbucks Brazil, operated locally by SouthRock, today announced a new collaboration with iFood, one of Brazil’s leading national providers of food and beverage delivery services. This partnership aims to provide Brazilian customers with added convenience. Currently, Starbucks Brazil has made 100 of the brand’s stores accessible on the iFood delivery platform across eight Brazilian states – São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Bahia, Rio Grande do Sul, Parana, Santa Catarina, and Brasilia.
“We are delighted to unveil this collaboration with iFood and reinforce our efforts to be even more present in the lives of our customers, meeting them wherever they are,” said Claudia Malaguerra, managing director of Starbucks Brazil. “We continuously seek innovative ways to enhance the Starbucks Experience we offer our customers while remaining attentive to their needs and preferences. We have noticed a growing demand for places to enjoy food and beverages, opting for more practical alternatives that adapt to their daily lives.”
To celebrate this announcement, on October 10 and 11, customers who purchase a Venti-sized Frappuccino® Blended Beverage from selected flavors with a croissant will receive an iconic white reusable Starbucks cup as a gift. Eligible flavors of the beverage are Brigadeiro Frappuccino® Blended Beverage (cream base), Dulce de Leche Frappuccino® Blended Beverage (cream base), and Super Strawberry Frappuccino® Blended Beverage, and the croissants are ham and cheese or chicken. This offer applies exclusively to orders placed through the Starbucks platform on the iFood app, in stores where the Starbucks iFood Promotion category is enabled, while supplies last.
“It is with great joy that we celebrate this collaboration with Starbucks Brazil. iFood is the most comprehensive platform in the country that offers restaurants and retailers different service packages compatible with all business sizes. With the largest national coverage of digital delivery, iFood looks forward to promoting Starbucks famous coffees and other products to the more than 43 million customers who choose the convenience of iFood every day,” said Felipe Crull, commercial director of iFood.
On the iFood app, Starbucks customers will enjoy the brand's extensive menu, including both regular and seasonal food and beverage items, as well as collectibles such as cups, mugs, and tumblers.
Starbucks Digital Experience
Since the brand arrived in Brazil in 2006 at the Morumbi mall in São Paulo, Starbucks has been committed to bringing the Starbucks Experience to life in ways that are relevant to Brazilian consumers. In addition to delivery services, Starbucks also offers other practical and convenient solutions through digital platforms. The Mobile Order & Pay (Peça Pelo Celular) program is available at over 180 Starbucks Brazil stores, allowing customers to place orders in advance and customize their beverages. They can schedule a pickup time at their preferred Starbucks location, enhancing convenience. All you need to do is download the Starbucks Brasil app and register.
Through the app, customers also gain access to the Starbucks Rewards loyalty program, which offers exclusive benefits, including early access to limited-edition beverages. Program members earn one star for every R$3.50 spent on products, which can be saved and exchanged for various store items, ranging from beverages to retail merchandise like cups, mugs, and other seasonal menu items.
