Starbucks Brazil expands Summer menu with new cold beverages

To complement its summer menu, the brand announces the return of the iconic Cookies & Cream Frappuccino® Blended Beverage and the launch of two new Shaken Espresso flavors

São Paulo – To help customers cool down on the hottest days of the year, Starbucks Brazil today announced the launch of three delicious new drinks to complement its summer menu. Starting March 8, customers can savor the iconic Cookies & Cream Frappuccino® Blended Beverage and two new seasonal handcrafted beverage options, the Iced Toasted Vanilla Shaken Espresso, and Iced Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso.

"This summer, we are introducing several new beverages to Brazil that offer a variety of flavors and experiences. As we celebrate the seasons changing, we bring two new versions of the energizing Shaken espresso beverages and the return of a customer favorite Cookies & Cream Frappuccino® Blended Beverage, which is coming to Brazil to freshen up the hottest days of summer," said Sedenir Junior, marketing manager at Starbucks Brazil.

Brazilian customers can also experience the taste of summer with Starbucks seasonal coffee blends. Starbucks® Single-Origin El Salvador Ahuachapán is a light-roasted coffee, grown in the volcanic soil of the traditional coffee-growing region of Ahuachapán, in El Salvador. With a soft body and notes of cashew and cocoa, this versatile coffee is a great option for the summer and can be enjoyed hot and iced, as well as cold brewed.

Cookies & Cream Frappuccino® Blended Beverage – Make your summer day a fun one with this delicious combination of decadent Frappuccino® chips, blended with ice cubes and your milk of choice, topped with fresh whipped cream and a crunchy cookie crumble. Starting at R$20* or redeemed with 70 Starbucks Rewards stars.

Iced Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso – The Shaken Espresso line is ideal for coffee lovers looking for a refreshing option for the summer.  Perfectly blended with sweet brown sugar and a dash of cinnamon, this cold new beverage will be the freshest way to enjoy your summer. Starting at R$17* or redeemed with 45 Starbucks Rewards stars.

Iced Toasted Vanilla Shaken Espresso – Add a splash of excitement to your summer day with this energizing new beverage that combines our signature Vanilla Flavored Coffee with a dash of toasted vanilla syrup, paired with ice cubes and milk. Starting at R$17* or redeemed with 45 Starbucks Rewards stars.

Starbucks® Single-Origin El Salvador Ahuachapán – Offered by Starbucks in Brazil at the start of the Summer promotional campaign, this light roast coffee grown in El Salvador's rich volcanic soil remains on the seasonal menu, featuring notes of sweet cashew and a cocoa bean in every sip. A great option to be enjoyed hot or cold, this blend brings with it all the culture and history of one of the first coffee regions in Latin America. Starting at R$50* or redeemed with 150 Starbucks Rewards stars.  

Starbucks Rewards members receive one star for every BRL 3.50 spent in Starbucks Brazil stores to add and redeem for a wide variety of items, including seasonal menu items.  Customer orders can be made, and beverages customized, through the Starbucks Brazil app.

Summer beverages will be available at Starbucks stores in Brazil until April 25, 2023, while supplies last. The new menu items can be purchased for a limited time in all local stores and in select stores through the Starbucks Brazil app.
