Starbucks Launches Stranger Frappuccino® Blended Beverage in Chile, Argentina & Uruguay

To celebrate the premiere of volume 1 of the fourth season of Stranger Things, Starbucks customers across the Southern Cone region can enjoy the limited-edition beverage from May 27 to June 10.

Santiago, Chile – Starbucks – operated by licensed retail operator Alsea in Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay (the “Southern Cone” region) – today announced the release of a limited-edition Stranger Frappuccino® Blended Beverage. The drink – available in stores across Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay from May 27 to June 10 – celebrates the premiere of volume 1 of the fourth season of Stranger Things, one of Netflix’s most popular series.

The limited-edition Stranger Frappuccino® Blended Beverage is designed to delight customers as they return to the town of Hawkins to uncover mysteries of the series. The drink features strawberry puree layered on top of mocha and finished with whipped cream and a strawberry drizzle. Mocha spirals on the side of the cup add a fun topsy turvy element as customers are transported to the Upside Down in search for answers.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Netflix with the launch of the Stranger Frappuccino® Blended Beverage – an exquisite drink that pays homage to the ‘supernatural’ for which this hit show is beloved,” said Soledad Fantuzzi, marketing manager of Starbucks Southern Cone. “At Starbucks, we strive to offer new experiences to our customers, and we look forward to continuing to partner with Netflix to bring the best content and most delicious beverages to Starbucks customers across Chile, Argentina and Uruguay.”

The Stranger Frappuccino® Blended Beverage release follows Starbucks Bridgerton collaboration launched in Chile and Argentina in April 2022 and is part of a multi-month partnership between the brand and Netflix that will run through 2023 across the Southern Cone region. Through the partnership, Starbucks endeavors to create unique and unforgettable experiences to connect partners and customers. Activations will include pop-up events, beverage launches, and other unique contests tied to upcoming premieres of the popular streaming service and production company.

Stranger Things season four will be divided into two volumes, with volume one dropping May 27 and volume two arriving on July 1.
