Starbucks and Netflix collaborate to bring the essence of Bridgerton to Chile

Inspired by the hit Netflix series and London’s Regency era, Starbucks Chile launches a signature English Breakfast Latte and a pop-up experience in Santiago’s Starbucks Reserve. The content collaboration marks the first program in a multi-month alliance between Starbucks Chile and Netflix.

Santiago – Starbucks Chile and Netflix today announced a new collaboration to bring signature beverages and product launches to the market – all inspired by the streaming company’s 2022 premieres.

The Starbucks Chile-Netflix collaboration kicks off with the hit series Bridgerton. After over a year of waiting, fans can finally enjoy the second season of the popular Netflix show that captivated viewers with its depiction of London high society during the Regency era. The mesmerizing story, set in a time of debutante balls and the world-famous English teatime, has inspired Starbucks Chile to bring this long-awaited tradition to the market with our signature English Breakfast Latte, special dessert pairing and a unique in-store experience.

“We are very pleased to announce this alliance with Netflix that begins with the Bridgerton experience and with which we strive to foster spaces of connection with our customers," said Soledad Fantuzzi, Marketing Manager of Starbucks Southern Cone. “With this collaboration, we aim to surprise and delight our customers with seasonal experiences and delicious Starbucks beverages designed to evoke Netflix characters and themes they love,” she added.

One of the protagonists of the second season of Bridgerton is Kate Sharma, who enjoys teatime on the terrace of the Bridgerton's country house. This scene has been a real inspiration to bring innovative products to Starbucks stores in Chile. The new Bridgerton pairing consists of a signature English Breakfast Latte – a select blend of rich, full-leaf black teas sweetened with liquid cane sugar and topped with steamed milk and a velvety foam – and a macaroon, a classic cookie prepared with almond flour and merengue, at a special price. The signature beverage will be available from Friday, April 8, in all stores across the market, with special early access for Starbucks Rewards customers on Thursday, April 7.

To enhance the experience of Bridgerton's dreamy reality and move forward on our path to connect with customers, Starbucks Chile will host a pop-up experience from April 8 to 10, recreating the set design of the famous series in Santiago’s Starbucks Reserve store. With a visit to the store – located in Magdalena 140, Las Condes, in Santiago – customers can go back in time, enjoy the London Regency-era setting, and live the Bridgerton experience firsthand.

As part of the collaboration, Starbucks Chile and Netflix will also be hosting a virtual Book Club, inviting TikTok celebrities to share their thoughts on the best-selling books that inspired some of Netflix most beloved series. On this occasion, the Starbucks Chile-Netflix Book Club will discuss historical romance author Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton book series.
