Santo Domingo – Starbucks Dominican Republic, operated by Green Star Partners, continues to strengthen its presence in the market with the opening of its 16th coffeehouse, located in Blue Garden, the atrium of BlueMall’s World Trade Center Corporate. Designed as a Third Place gathering for the business community, customers and local residents, the new coffeehouse offers a welcoming space where coffee, design and connection come together in one of Santo Domingo’s most important corporate developments.

The opening coincides with Starbucks sixth anniversary in the Dominican Republic, reaffirming the brand’s commitment to create spaces designed to embrace the strength of the existing architecture, inspiring connection and community throughout the market.

The open-air space connecting World Trade Center Corporate and BlueMall, features a spacious terrace and an inviting atmosphere designed for meetings, work or simply taking a break during the day, becoming a new gathering coffeehouse within the corporate district.

“Opening this coffeehouse represents much more than another location. It allows us to become part of one of the market´s most important new corporate developments while continuing to create experiences with innovative offerings that customers can enjoy throughout their day. This opening also marks six years of serving Dominicans and reinforces our commitment to growing alongside the communities we serve,” said Osvaldo Sazo, General Manager of Green Star Partners.

Every design detail celebrates Dominican architecture and craftsmanship, incorporating warm materials, such as the hand-carved walnut panels on the bar front, which serve as a canvas for storytelling inspired by the Dominican coffee-growing landscape and Taíno heritage. These thoughtful details create a space that reflects the local identity while delivering the Starbucks Experience.

Customers will be able to enjoy Starbucks full portfolio and look for the new Discovery Series Dominican Republic collection, designed to celebrate the market’s most relevant tourist destinations and explore the new lineup of protein beverages.
