Starbucks Mexico Introduces New Line of Protein Beverages
For the first time in Mexico, Starbucks introduces a new lineup of handcrafted beverages made with Protein-boosted Milk. Made with whey protein, and gluten-free and with no added sugar, these beverages offer a new way to level up your day.
Mexico City —From those who start their day with exercise to those seeking new options to accompany their activities, more people are incorporating protein into their daily routine. As part of this evolution, coffeehouses across Starbucks Mexico, operated by Alsea, will offer a new line of Protein Lattes made with Protein-boosted Milk.
The new drinks, available starting March 9, come in a variety of flavors (including a sugar-free option) and are designed to support customers looking to add protein to their order.

The flavors you crave and the nutrition you need
Crafted with Protein-boosted Milk, Starbucks Protein Lattes will deliver approximately 23 to 35 grams of protein per Grande beverage while maintaining the rich, bold flavor and smooth texture customers know and love.
- The Protein Matcha combines unsweetened matcha with classic syrup and Protein-boosted Milk and delivers 28 to 35 grams of protein per Grande beverage.
- The Vanilla Protein Latte features rich, bold espresso combined with Protein-boosted Milk and vanilla syrup and packs 23 to 28 grams of protein per Grande beverage.
- The Sugar-Free Vanilla Protein Latte offers rich, dark espresso combined with Protein-boosted Milk and sugar-free vanilla syrup delivering 23 to 28 grams of protein per Grande beverage.
