- The new drive-thru concept aims to enhance the Starbucks Experience for the Lima community, balancing speed and quality and offering on-the-go customers their favorite Starbucks beverages.
- It is the second drive-thru opening in Peru following the debut of Starbucks Panamericana Sur store in 2018.
Lima, Peru - Starbucks - operated by licensed business partner Delosi in Peru - proudly unveiled its first Drive-Thru coffee experience in Lima’s urban zone today with its El Ejercito store located on Pérez Araníbar Avenue in San Isidro. This new opening marks a significant milestone for the brand and precedes a strategic shift in the way Lima residents consume coffee outside their homes.
The launch of the drive-thru store showcases the brand’s adaptability to the Peruvian cultural context and introduces new services tailored to local preferences. Furthermore, reaffirming its commitment to creating a resource-positive future, this store holds Starbucks Greener Store certification, focusing on reducing carbon emissions and implementing more sustainable practices. Starbucks Peru’s first Greener Store was certified last August in celebration of the brand’s 20th anniversary in the market.
“We are thrilled to announce the opening of our first drive-thru in the urban zone of Lima. This marks a significant milestone for Starbucks Peru, demonstrating our continued commitment to expanding store formats and creating new connections that meet our customers' needs, satisfying their growing demand for premium coffee on-the-go. Anticipating a monthly traffic of 12,000 visitors, we are excited to welcome coffee enthusiasts to experience the convenience and excellence of Starbucks coffee in a whole new way,” said Cristel Delgado, brand manager of Starbucks Peru.
