Starbucks Mexico Offers Free Coffee for Voters on June 2

Mexico City - In an effort to encourage civic engagement, Starbucks Mexico – managed by licensed business operator Alsea – announces the "Starbucks Latte for Civic Participation" campaign. Customers will enjoy a complimentary Alto–sized coffee of the day on Sunday, June 2, 2024, by presenting their marked finger as proof of casting their vote in Mexico’s Federal Election.

"With our campaign 'Starbucks Latte for Civic Participation,' we aim to encourage the civic participation of partners (employees), customers, and communities in the electoral process on June 2," said Francisco Tosso, CEO of Starbucks Mexico. "In addition to our market, Starbucks has also promoted civic engagement in other markets as part of the Starbucks Vota campaigns," he added.

In recognition of the upcoming 2024 elections, Starbucks Mexico invites voters to enjoy a complimentary Alto-size Coffee of the Day by visiting over 800 locations nationwide with an ink-marked finger as proof of voting.
