Bogotá, Colombia - Starbucks, operated by Alsea in Colombia, today announced the launch of its “Ads for Good” campaign, inviting Colombians, artists, and creative agencies to participate in a contest for the creation of graphic pieces that address themes of inclusion and diversity. The call is open from now until June 21 of this year, coinciding with the celebration of Pride Month as well as Starbucks Colombia’s 10th anniversary in the market.
Selected works will be exhibited in prominent stores and via the brand’s virtual gallery, offering a platform for messages of inclusion and diversity to reach a broad and diverse audience. This exhibition seeks not only to celebrate creative talent but also to generate a positive impact on society by promoting an inclusive and respectful environment for which the brand has been working since entering the Colombian market in 2014.
“Ads For Good is an initiative through which we invite artists and agencies from different markets in the region (Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, and Paraguay) to reflect on important inclusion & diversity topics for our community, approaching them as significant challenges and promoting a culture of respect and inclusion. We believe each piece will have the power to inspire positive changes in our society through the creativity and imagination of our local artists,” said Soledad Fantuzzi, head of marketing Starbucks Colombia.
Starbucks Colombia maintains its commitment to creating a welcoming environment and fostering a culture where everyone is welcome, promoting equity and accessibility in every aspect of its operations.
