Starbucks® Partners with Camilo to Celebrate the Rituals that Connect Coffee and Music
Launching on International Coffee Day, the “My Coffee. My Ritual.” partnership will unfold across Latin America and the Caribbean beginning in October, featuring Camilo’s music in Starbucks coffeehouses, Camilo’s favorite Starbucks beverages, and opportunities to participate in exclusive Starbucks x Camilo experiences.
This International Coffee Day, Starbucks® and the Colombian singer-songwriter Camilo are coming together to celebrate the personal rituals that make a cup of coffee part of everyday life. Through the “My Coffee. My Ritual.” partnership, customers across participating markets in Latin America and the Caribbean will experience a series of activations inspired by Camilo’s relationship with coffee and music, rolling out over the coming months.
As part of the collaboration, Camilo’s “My Coffee. My Ritual.” playlist – featuring tracks from his recently released album Para Cuando Sean Mayores, alongside fan-favorite hits from across his career – will play in participating Starbucks coffeehouses across the region during special coffee tastings throughout October. Customers will also be able to enjoy the Starbucks drinks that are part of daily rituals – including Americano, Cold-Brew, Double Espresso Macchiato, Shaken Espresso, and Aerocano* – while exploring exclusive Starbucks x Camilo experiences.
The collaboration is rooted in a simple idea: everyone has their own coffee ritual. For some, coffee marks the beginning of the day; for others, it is a much-needed pause, a conversation with someone special or part of the creative process. Through coffee and music, Starbucks and Camilo are celebrating those everyday moments that bring people together.
“For decades, Starbucks has brought together coffee and music to create experiences that foster connection and enrich everyday moments. Coffee often becomes part of the rituals that shape our daily lives, while music has the power to elevate those moments and bring people together in meaningful ways. Through our partnership with Camilo, we’re excited to celebrate those personal rituals and create new opportunities for customers across Latin America and the Caribbean to connect through the things they love most: coffee, music and each other,” said Ricardo Arias-Nath, senior vice president, Global Coffee and Tea and president, Starbucks Latin America and the Caribbean.
A Ritual Built Around Coffee
For Camilo, that connection begins with his own relationship with coffee and the moments it accompanies in his life and creative process.
“Coffee is a ritual that keeps me in the present moment. The only way to really enjoy the coffee you’re drinking is to sip it slowly; like breathing, right? Coffee anchors you in the here and now. It’s the ritual that marks the day’s most sacred moment: the start of my morning, when I look inward, write in my journals, and connect with myself. And then, during the day, coffee is the ritual that connects me with others, with my friends and family. Coffee is always the excuse to come together. So, I’m excited to share this ritual with the whole community around me too, because I feel it’s one more excuse to connect and have more things in common,” said Camilo.
Throughout the partnership, select customers in participating markets will have opportunities to take part in curated Starbucks x Camilo experiences inspired by the rituals that bring people together and designed to celebrate Camilo’s fan community, La Tribu.
Experiences Beyond the Cup
As part of the launch of “My Coffee. My Ritual.,” Camilo visited Hacienda Alsacia, Starbucks global agronomy headquarters and first coffee farm in Costa Rica as part of the Starbucks LAC Barista Championship 2026. During his visit, he met coffee farmers, learned more about the journey from bean to cup and connected with Starbucks baristas from across Latin America and the Caribbean, hearing firsthand the stories and craftsmanship behind the coffees they serve every day.

Now, “My Coffee. My Ritual.” brings those shared moments of coffee, music and connection to select Starbucks coffeehouses across Latin America and the Caribbean, inviting customers to celebrate the rituals that make coffee a meaningful part of everyday life.
*Aerocano is available in select LAC markets.

About Camilo
Camilo is a singer-songwriter, musician, and producer from Medellín, Colombia, a six-time Latin GRAMMY® winner and three-time GRAMMY® nominee. He is considered one of the leading figures in pop music of his generation. Globally recognized as a master songwriter with a musical sensibility that translates into reflective, luminous, and deeply personal lyrics, he has a rare ability to connect with audiences across generations. His debut album, Por Primera Vez (2019), reached #1 on Billboard’s Latin Pop Albums chart and earned platinum certifications in four countries, including the United States, where it received four platinum certifications from the RIAA. In 2021, he released his second album, Mis Manos, which brought him his first three Latin GRAMMY® Awards: Best Pop Song for “Vida de Rico,” Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Urban Fusion/Performance for “Tattoo (Remix).” The album reached #2 on Billboard’s Latin Pop Albums chart and earned two platinum certifications in the United States. A year later, he released De Adentro Pa Fuera, his third studio album, which took him on his first tour across the United States, Latin America, Mexico, and even Japan. The tour was documented in the HBO film “CAMILO: EL PRIMER TOUR DE MI VIDA,” which, a year later, went on to win the Latin GRAMMY® for Best Long Form Music Video. In 2024, he ventured into contemporary tropical music with cuatro, his fourth studio album, recorded at El Taller Creativo, a space Camilo opened in Miami that has become an artistic haven for his work. There, Para Cuando Sean Mayores, his fifth studio album, took shape and was released in September 2026. The record is the most personal work of Camilo’s career, born of his experience with fatherhood and his desire to leave an instruction manual for his daughters, Índigo and Amaranto — a process that unexpectedly led him back to his inner child. The album debuted at #2 on Spotify’s Top Albums Global Debut chart and #9 on the Top Albums Debut USA chart. Camilo’s artistry is universal: it has led him to collaborate with artists across regions, languages, and genres, including Diljit Dosanjh (India) on “Palpita”; JP Saxe (Canada) on “Moderation”; Jacob Collier (UK) on “Mi Corazón”; Vanesa Martín (Spain) on “Maldita Mudanza”; Pablo Alborán (Spain) on “El Mismo Aire”; Alejandro Sanz (Spain) on “NASA”; Carlos Vives (Colombia) on “Baloncito Viejo”; Wisin y Los Legendarios (Puerto Rico) on “Buenos Días”; Shawn Mendes (Canada) on “KESI – Remix”; Nicole Zignago (Peru) on “Mimos”; Gusttavo Lima (Brazil) on “BEBÊ”; Nicki Nicole (Argentina) on “Naturaleza”; Grupo Firme (Mexico) on “Alaska”; and Carín León (Mexico) on “Una Vida Pasada,” among others. With more than 94.7 million followers across social media, over 21 million on Spotify, and 21.5 million monthly listeners, Camilo is one of the most influential artists in Spanish-language pop.
