Located at Avenida Independencia 2993, the opening of this new store brings the Starbucks Experience to even more cities and coffee fans in Argentina. This milestone marks the 134th store in the market and reaffirms plans to continue expanding to new corners of Argentina in 2025.

Mar del Plata, Argentina – Starbucks Argentina, operated by authorized local business partner Alsea, announced the arrival of its first store in Mar del Plata on the coast of the province of Buenos Aires, as part of its ongoing expansion plans in the market. The new connection space will feature a unique and welcoming design and will be operational starting December 21, 2025.

The store design is intended to enhance the human connection created with a cup of coffee. The new location features a space based  in local brick architecture that will provide a warm and welcoming encounter for customers to enjoy high-quality Arabica coffee and artisanal beverages. The new store is designed to receive about 100 customers.

The murals were done by local artist Dana Alessi, who was inspired by the coasts where the store is located. The sea, waves and nature of Mar del Plata are the protagonists of a design full of colors from the area that invites customers to enjoy their favorite drink in a cozy space.

“We are thrilled to bring the Starbucks Experience to customers in Mar de Plata, expanding our presence in Argentina. Growing within the market is a priority for Starbucks, and we plan to open more stores, with a shared commitment to creating local employment opportunities and providing a unique customer experience,” said Claudia Aburto, brand director for Starbucks Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay and Colombia.

The new gathering space will feature high-quality Arabica coffee, hand-crafted by passionate baristas. Offerings will include classic Starbucks menu items such as renowned Caramel Frappuccino® Blended Beverages, flavored lattes and a vast offering of sandwiches and sweet treats.

The new Starbucks store has incorporated the Drive Thru modality, offering a faster and more convenient option for customers. This new functionality is designed to improve the experience of those looking to enjoy their favorite drink without having to get out of the car and saving time. “With this addition, we reaffirm our commitment to providing a convenient and personalized service, adapted to the needs of our clients,” Aburto added.

The opening of the new store brings together 24 partners (employees) who will be responsible for providing customers with the best service in the area from Monday to Thursday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 7 a.m. to 12 a.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
