        Mexico City<\/strong> – Starbucks Mexico today announced that starting August 22 it will introduce NotCo\u2019s NotMilk as its latest plant-based alternative in more than 750 stores across the market. The company will also launch the UnReal Muffin, made with NotCo\u2019s NotBurger, a plant-based patty. <\/p>\n<\/body>\n\n

        Starbucks began offering plant-based options to customers in Mexico\u202fin 2006 with the introduction of soy beverages to its menu. NotMilk, a non-dairy blend made with an assortment of plant ingredients, will be the fifth nondairy milk available to Starbucks customers in the market \u2013 joining soy, coconut, almond and oat milk.<\/p>\n<\/body>\n\n

        \u201cWe are pleased to bring NotCo products to Starbucks Mexico as we meet customers\u2019 increased demand for plant-based choices and work towards Starbucks global commitment to reduce our carbon footprint by 50%,\u201d <\/em>said Bibiana Rosique, marketing director, Starbucks Mexico. \u201cWe are especially proud to now offer five non-dairy milk options to our customers as part of our permanent menu.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/body>\n\n

        There are more than 170,000 ways to customize a beverage at Starbucks, including selecting plant-based options. These plant-based alternatives provide customers with various ways to meet their taste and lifestyle preferences in order to create their favorite Starbucks handcrafted beverages. Starbucks remains committed to innovating key platforms, such as espresso and Cold Brew, with plant-based ingredients included in the standard recipe.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/body>\n\n

        From August 22 to October 2, Starbucks will offer NotCo\u2019s NotMilk at no additional cost to customers selecting it when customizing their beverages.<\/p>\n<\/body>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
