      New caf\u00e9 at revitalized El Sue\u00f1o property in Christ Church is the second Starbucks store in the market<\/em><\/p>\n<\/body>\n\n

      Christ Church, Barbados \u2013 Today, Caribbean Coffee Traders Limited, the operating licensee of Starbucks in Barbados, announced the opening of its first drive-thru store in the market at the historic El Sue\u00f1o property in Christ Church, located just minutes from Worthing Beach off of Highway 7 on the south coast of the island. With the introduction of this new store format, Starbucks strives to meet Barbadian customers\u2019 need for convenience, connection and personalization while creating new and meaningful experiences that uplift the everyday.<\/p>\n<\/body>\n\n

      “We are excited for the opening of our very first drive-thru location\u00a0in Barbados to share our coffee passion with local customers while further creating job opportunities in the community,” <\/em>said Roxanne Dixon-Rose, Regional Director of Caribbean Coffee Traders Limited. “This drive-thru caf\u00e9 \u2013 our second location in the market \u2013 underscores Starbucks\u2019\u00a0continued\u00a0commitment\u00a0to expanding store formats across the Caribbean and satisfying our customers\u2019 growing demand for premium coffee on<\/em>-the-go.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/body>\n\n

      Renovated through a thoughtful adaptive reuse design, the El Sue\u00f1o drive-thru \u2013 which once housed a lighthouse that dated back to 1910 \u2013 is conveniently located across from Worthing Beach at the intersection of Garden Road and Highway 7 and between the towns of Bridgetown and Oistins. In addition to the convenient drive-thru window feature, the caf\u00e9 features stunning murals using a special stencil work technique created by local artists Sandy Layne and Sonia Burke.<\/p>\n<\/body>\n\n\n

      The drive-thru store is specially designed to provide a unique on-the-go experience in a safe and familiar way, while continuing to elevate the Starbucks Experience<\/em> for customers in Barbados. The new location, with 15 partners (employees) proudly wearing the green apron, will serve as the ideal getaway for commuters looking to take a break from their journey or enjoy a handcrafted beverage by the sea.<\/p>\n<\/body>\n\n

      Starbucks remains committed to adapting its customer experience for on-the-go occasions through formats such as drive-thru. Furthermore, with expanding digital convenience channels available, such as delivery, Starbucks and Caribbean Coffee Traders Limited continues to grow its portfolio with more ways to enhance the customer experience in Barbados and across the region.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/body>\n\n\n

      Starbucks welcomes its customers at the new El Sue\u00f1o location between 7:00am \u2013 8:00pm Monday to Saturday and 10:00am to 7:00pm on Sundays.
