        MEXICO CITY – As part of Starbucks commitment to invest in creating digital customer experiences that extend the Starbucks Experience in its stores, Starbucks announces the availability of the Order ahead and pay feature in the Starbucks app in Mexico, available on iOS and Android devices, a new feature that allows Starbucks Rewards members to place and pay for their orders in advance of their visit and pick it up at a participating Starbucks\u00ae stores, thanks to the use of digital technology to address their needs for convenience and speed.<\/p>\n<\/body>\n\n

        Starting today, Starbucks began to roll out in Mexico the company\u2019s Order ahead and pay feature to 466 select stores in the country.\u201dThe Starbucks Order ahead and Pay roll out is part of Starbucks strategy in Mexico to meet and exceed the rapidly evolving customer preferences, which have been accelerated during the current situation, including higher levels of mobile ordering, more contactless pick-up experiences, all of which naturally allow a greater safe and convenience experience\u201d, said Jose Luis Portela, director of Starbucks M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n<\/body>\n\n

        Starbucks\u00ae Order ahead and pay feature offers customers more autonomy in the way they consume, as each customer can choose when to order and where to pick up, at\u00a0their earliest convenience. The new feature allows customers to choose a store from a map view, browse, select, and customize beverage and food items, and pre-pay for the order – all within the Starbucks\u00ae Mexico app.\u00a0 Menu options highlight products available in participating stores, which are freshly prepared by our partners<\/em> (collaborators) and ready for pick-up in the designated area from each store.<\/p>\n<\/body>\n\n

        The new feature is exclusively available to Starbucks Rewards\u00ae loyalty program members through the Starbucks Mexico App, available for iOS\u00ae and Android\u2122 devices nationwide. Thus, Starbucks\u00ae Order ahead and pay will also enable customers to earn stars.<\/p>\n<\/body>\n\n

        To use Starbucks\u00ae Order ahead and Pay is simple: first get the Starbucks Mexico\u00ae App and sign up for Starbucks\u00ae Rewards program; then choose your Starbucks\u00ae Store Pickup location, then place your order and pay through Starbucks Mexico app; and finally pick up your order at the selected store.<\/p>\n<\/body>\n\n
