      • In line with its strategic plan in Peru, Starbucks expanded to new cities in the market\u2019s southern provinces, Juliaca and Puno, earlier this year. Now, the brand continues its growth with the opening of its very first store in Loreto.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • The new store, located in the city of Iquitos is build under the Greener Store framework, reflects the brand\u2019s commitment to sustainability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • By the end of 2024, Starbucks will operate 125 stores across the market, with six new locations added this year alone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/body>\n\n

        Lima, Peru \u2013 As part of its continued expansion plans in the Peruvian market, Starbucks Peru, managed by licensed business operator Delosi, today announced the opening of its first store in the city of Iquitos, Loreto \u2013 an important port city and gateway to Peru\u2019s Amazon region. The new location underscores the brand\u2019s commitment to sustainable growth in the market and offers a variety of Starbucks favorites including hot and cold coffee beverages, sandwiches and desserts.<\/p>\n<\/body>\n\n\n

        Located in Mall Aventura Iquitos in the district of San Juan, the store marks Starbucks first foray into the eastern region of the market. Following recent expansions in Juliaca and Puno, this opening is a key milestone in the brand\u2019s growth strategy, with a projected total of 125 stores in the market by the end of 2024.<\/p>\n<\/body>\n\n

        This new establishment aims to connect customers with local culture through its unique design and decor. The store will feature a mural created by the Peruvian artist Zelva Uno, reflecting the cultural richness and local biodiversity of Loreto. This mural invites customers to enjoy a cozy atmosphere while savoring high-quality Arabica<\/em> coffee and handcrafted beverages.<\/p>\n<\/body>\n\n\n

        As with other recent openings, this new store in Iquitos is built under Starbucks \u201cGreener Store\u201d framework, adhering to the brand\u2019s rigorous standards for reducing carbon emissions, water consumption, and waste generation. The store features 100% LED lighting, water-efficient technologies, and various practices aimed at minimizing environmental impact. Additionally, Starbucks \u201cGrounds for Your Garden\u201d program, which promotes composting by offering customers used coffee grounds, will be available to encourage waste reduction.<\/p>\n<\/body>\n\n\n

        This year has also been significant for Starbucks in Lima, with the opening of new stores in districts such as Santa Anita, Villa El Salvador, and San Juan de Lurigancho, further consolidating the brand\u2019s presence in the eastern part of the city. These moves reflect the sustained expansion of the brand and its efforts to reach even more customers. Furthermore, Starbucks has expanded its portfolio of innovative formats such as the drive-thru, launching a new store under on Av. P\u00e9rez Aran\u00edbar in San Isidro. This model caters to customers’ need for convenience, allowing them to enjoy their favorite drinks without leaving their cars, combining speed, quality, and personalization.<\/p>\n<\/body>\n\n\n
