Located in 14 cities in seven states across Brazil, and operated in partnership with SouthRock, the stores will help reduce Starbucks environmental impact by providing customers with a range of options suited to their preferences while ensuring sustainable practices and materials. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/body>\n\n<body><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 18 Greener Stores recently certified in Brazil adhere to the Starbucks Greener Store Framework through a more efficient use of resources. All the certified stores are equipped with 100% mercury-free LED lighting \u2013 reducing energy use up to 50% \u2013 as well as aerators and metered faucets in all partner and customer sinks and dual flush toilets that reduce water usage by up to 60%. The stores also boast air conditioning with inverter technology, which improves energy efficiency by up to 40%.<\/p>\n<\/body>\n\n<body><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, these stores are all projected to improve customer well-being by taking measures to reduce noise and make better use of natural lighting.
